You might need to think about what you are trying to do: North & South Korea are areas of land, a single set of coordinates to represent each might be in "the middle of the country". You can certainly calculate the distance between those coordinates, I guess that might give you many hundred km. But they are actually adjacent, the distance in real life could be said to be zero.
