Sorry, I left out the link. I thought it not important because the
problem seems so generic and it is getting mentioned on the Drupal
Forums where they are basically saying the problem must be ours and
not the modules. The site is being built at:

http://barcelona.s702.sureserver.com

It is a bit of a mess because it is still very much a building site
with the foundations not quite finished; and ambitious foundations
they are. At least for me, but the entire project does have quite a
high dependence on maps, so that actually working well is a vital
feature.

In any case, cheers for teh help, sorry I did not include teh site
