@Barry Thanks for the response..Since I am dealing with non public data i won't be able to use ggeoxml. Did see the GeoXml as option when googling around but need more research on that. One being built on top of the other
@Lance Thanks for the response..I did find the list of tags http://code.google.com/apis/kml/documentation/kmlelementsinmaps.html there is some work involved in moving from Google Earth networklinkcontrol create/change/update approach.
