You're right Lance, it is more elaborate. You've done a good job. However, for my uses, it's perhaps a tad too elaborate. A lot of the additional features I won't use.
Do you have any links or references to simplified EGeoXml implementations? Ideally, I'd like just a plain side bar that I can dress with CSS (No custom icons or fading when not in view, etc.) And I'm not a great fan of the alert window in the middle of the map. Seeing as it does have some features I would find very useful (zoom to specific marker and the info snippets under the marker titles. Very Nice!) I will use it if it can be implemented without lots of fiddling. Is there a doc/man page for EGeoXml?
