I've implemented Mike Williams examples of setting the z-index (specifically the marker importance); turning on/off marker categories; and the getting of directions in my map. I'm experiencing a problem when the direction markers are displayed on the map because they are at the lowest z-index. This issue prevents the map blow ups from showing when you click on the direction steps. If I turn off all categories of markers so the direction markers are the only one's visible, the map blow ups are displayed correctly. How can I make the z-index of the direction markers overlay the highest value so I don't have to turn off the categories.
