The map at http://ambayhosting.com/ loads fine for me with latest
version of Firefox.

I had exactly the same problem - wanting a user to be able to right
click then copy text from a text type input field in a GControl.

I never found a solution and my client was happy with my workaround -
adding the text "Use Ctrl-C to COPY" to the GControl:

http://planefinder.net/

Click "Get a link to this map" to see the text field i wanted the user
to be able to copy text from.

Maybe a solution is not to use a GControl but to use CSS to position a
DIV over the map - the map wouldn't re-position itself to avoid
opening the infowindow under such a DIV but that's about the only
problem i could foresee.

Joe - your "Send" link doesn't encode the URL it tries to send by
email.
For example:

http://www.vacationmapia.com/United Kingdom/England/Coventry/
default.aspx

There's a space there that needs encoding.

Martin.
