I'm building an iPhone Web app using JQTouch. I just started creating the Google static map part yesterday. It works fine using the SDK4 iPhone simulator on my Mac (and on desktop Safari too). But on my iPad Touch (using OS3), with the same home WiFi network as with the Mac, I only get the little "?" box that shows an unloaded image.
To try this on your device, go to http://www.martinduo.com/martinduo/chirpid and tap on the 2nd tabbar icon labeled "GeoTags".
