All the other map types (map, hybrid, terrain, satellite) work OK in the browser but not the "earth" type (G_SATELLITE_3D_MAP)). When clicking the "earth" button the following message appears: "The Google Maps API key used on this web site was registered for a different web site. The developer of this web site can generate a new key here." I've searched for a solution to this problem in this and other groups and no successful solution found. Is this a license issue? Seems to be something else as the other buttons (G_PHYSICAL_MAP) work. Note. I am able to use all the map buttons including "earth" in the browser but this is on other URLs.
