I suggest looking at http://econym.org.uk/gmap/basic1.htm to see how listeners are used *within* the createMarker function. Adding a listener to a marker inside that function binds the listener to the right marker. Currently, when the listener is triggered, its handler function opens the infoWindow on whatever happens to be called "marker" at that time, which will always be the last one.
