I am looking for the best way to make attribute data from a spreadsheet available for display in the info windows of their corresponding polygons. Right now my polygons are encoded right on the map and I just need a way to link them to their attributes.
Background: Map markers are currently fed through json from google spreadsheet coded by Pamela Fox's spreadsheet mapping wizard. I would like to simply store the polygons in the spreadsheet to keep the same functionality of markers (toggle, mouseovers, etc.) but am a bit unclear how to format them (lat/lng all in 1 cell, separate cells for all lat/ lng values, stored as encoded polygons, etc). Or would it be easier, or possible, to assign a unique ID to encoded polygons to link them to spreadsheet. I am really stuck! Any and all assistance, suggestions, hints, tutorial links would be greatly appreciated.
