I have a small test web app running on a web server hosted by a 3rd party company. The webpage has a small Google Map API on it that doesn't do anything but display a dot at my office's location for now.
If I try to go to this webpage using Internet Explorer on a PC, it works great. However, anytime someone tries to go to this page on a Windows Mobile 6.0 mobile device using the windows browser, they get a message saying the Google MAP API License key is invalid and needs to be renewed. I haven't tried it with any other mobile devices. I looked at Google's License Terms and don't see anything about using the API from a Mobile device's web browser. I can name several software apps that are using Google Maps API specifically for tracking their company vehicles and you don't get any license key warnings with their stuff so why is my app giving this error??? It doesn't do anything right now but display a dot. Is it a Windows Mobile problem?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
