There has been a bit of discussion here on this issue. My view is that it depends. If you are making a pdf for personal use I think it would be ok. I do that frequently to save paper on lots of sites including google's. It is easy for me to do for free since I use linux. I just choose view in firefox, print, to file... pdf. You need to install software on windows to do that because microsoft is a monopoly. There are both free and expensive software available for windows to enable that. Scripting the procedure might have additional terms to worry about. You shouldn't need to script it if you aren't breaking the terms anyway.
