I've set up my map with a heavily-customized version of Lance Dyas' GeoXML. I'm loading a customized div in place of the infowindow using jquery. Within this window are pictures/links which can be clicked on to open a new window. All of that is working fine, but the problem is if the location of the click for the picture is on top of another point (under the popup), it opens the popup for that marker location instead. I'm at a loss; i've tried to detect if the clicked marker's bounds are within the bounds of the popup but that's not working.
