I was playing around with the Static Maps API using the HTML5 Geolocation API. It worked fine on my desktop, but when I tried it from my Android phone I could get nothing but the quota exceeded limit. Needless to say I wasn't anywhere near the usage limit, I got that from my first request.
I'm assuming there's some sort of proxy service at Vodafone through which I'm accessing the API, but then it seems the usage limit is applying to all users on Vodafone each day instead of just me?
