I have a question about integrating Google maps onto my website. Say, for instance, when a user is updating their profile or signing up on the site, they can enter a "Location".
I would like the form field for the "Location" to call a javascript function that will find the location on Google Maps, display it correctly, and update the field to show the correct location. (Say for instance they enter san fransisco, it will update to San Fransisco, CA, USA, or something like that.) I would also like it to show the map below the field with the location centered. How could I accomplish something like this, I have seen it done elsewhere so I know it is possible.
