Hi I have created my first google map of any size, it outlines neighborhoods in Ottawa Canada, provides Demographic information about each one, and has markers for United Way funded services in the city.
It takes a long time to load, I used a online tool called click2map and then edited the markers.js file myself to customize the look. The two main files are map.html and markers.js Questions Is there a better way to segment data to improve load time? If so how? Can I have the info window query a DB when the marker is clicked, that way avoiding having to preload all the marker information?
