Hello everyone, I had the following issue with my maps: they were showing, the marker was showing also, but the area showed by default was not the one around the marker and there was no zoom in, so you ended up seeing a whole continent without a trace of the marker.
Therefore, I decided to ask for an API key to fill the space API key of my website tool service, which is grou.ps. It seems like grou.ps has an API key by default for its whole domain, but every user is allowed to ask for a new API key for each grou.ps/website they create. Well, I asked for that new API key and inserted it, result: a map with my country in the middle (that's better) but with no marker. If the marker showed up now, it would appear on the map showed by default, which is what I was looking for (I would like to have some zoom in, but that might be too much to ask), BUT there is no marker at all now. Example: http://www.camarillalondon.com/calendar/event/327697. If I remove my API key to try and go back to the former state of the things, I get a nasty pop-up error on each page that contains or should contain a map asking me for the proper API. That didn't happen before. What should I do to get the marker in place again? I mean, I'd rather have a non-centered map with a marker, than a centered map without the marker, because for my needs there is no point in having any map if it's not with a marker. I believe I'm allowed to change some code in this website made with grou.ps tool if necessary. But the feature I'm asking for is so basic, it would surprise me if I had to touch something. Thank you in advance for reading me. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
