I'd like to be able to measure distances within street view, for example to measure how wide a street or pavement is? I'm thinking that the user can click/mark one side of the street, then click/mark the other side, and there be a java call(s) to get the distance between them. Is there any way to do this?
Alternatively, is the grey circle that appears on the ground tracking the mouse any use? It *seems* to be a fixed size for a given zoom level (avout 2 metres for most zoomed out). If someone could confirm that this size is fixed, and also indicate what the size it at each of the zoom levels, that may just be a solution. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
