In the United States, the US Post Office has a web-based service where
you can submit an address to get the 9-digit zip code.  That service
won't return a zip when the address does not exist (at least so far as
I can tell).

I don't know if Argentina has a similar service, but it looks like
they offer an off-line service to validate addresses.
http://www.correoargentino.com.ar/para_empresas/bases.php Depending on
the number of addresses you need to validate, this might be an option.
