I am developing an application in which I want to use google places. However, I need to know when a place represents a single local business vs some chain businesses, because I need to be able to track and show data for both.
For example, when dealing with restaurants. If a user queries for nearby restaurants, and "McDonald's" is one of the results, I would like to be able to store information about that local place, as well as general information that should apply to any McDonald's restaurant. What's the best way to handle this? Is there some field in the places results I can use to identify that? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
