Larry, much thanks for the help! I got the "correct" result by going to "maps.google.com" and gave "88 Sukhumvit 24, Klongteoy, Bangkok" for "Search Maps". The search came back with 6 results (A to F) and the very first one (A) is:"The Davis Hotel Bangkok" which is exactly what I was looking for. So I click on the "A" marker to get the "whats here" and got the "correct" lat/lng 13.724477,100.56673. So there was a manual selection process that got to my "correct" lat/lng.
My problem is the JSON won't give me this desired result, as you've shown me with the v2 client geocoder which returns: > Found 1 results > [ 0 ]: Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand (13.7420985, 100.5529747) > "Accuracy": 6, which responds to "Sukhumvit Rd., Khlong Toei, Bangkok..."instead of specifically "88 Sukhumvit 24, Klongteoy, Bangkok" and the result (in maps.google.com) contains up to 6 entries. (Does the "Accuracy": 6 in v2 client geocoder result means the "6" entries?) Would it be that the specific address number is not a registered data in maps' database, so the response came back as based on the street stub instead of the specific address? Even though there's this very 1st entry in the result does match the specific address? What I'm trying to do is to map a list of Bangkok addresses to their specific lat/lng for further usage. But perhaps the database accuracy for Bangkok is not that good yet? I tried US address such as "6872 Shearwater Dr., San Jose" on maps and v2 client (JSON) gave me 37.2130200 -121.8381600 and the maps.google.com gave me 37.213059,-121.838425 (by click on what's here to see the lat/lng) The results are close enough, not as the Bangkok case.
