Probably the fact that those links don't exist in the DOM until the
infoWindow is opened. I'm surprised that it works in Firefox/Chrome.

Without taking apart the nyroModal script (which is difficult, since
it's packed) it's not really possible to suggest much. But a previous
thread at 
http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Maps-API/browse_thread/thread/bd7072f4d1de37af
where I dissected Lightbox may provide some ideas. (I'm "warden" in
that thread, although I've since changed my email address and screen
name)

There have been issues reported regarding JQuery's "live" method, too,
which may also be relevant.
