Hey i was just curious how google maps know whats a road and whats not a road.do they just have a massive database of points(i assume not) or what?
Im asking this question in relation to a project that i am working on and i want to know if there is a way to 'detect' roads, or is all i can do just query for directions off google. hope my question is clear. cheers p.s. I asked a friend of mine and he just said google keep it a secret and all you can do is constantly query. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
