im trying to create a webpage for company (a heavy haulage company) using the Google API. I want to be able to plot a route (which i can do) store it in a database and then get customers to log in and say they are in a certain post code and for the webpage to list all the trucks that are going within 50kms of this postcode..
Is it possible? the problem is there may be 1000 trucks going in all differnet locations. so each 1000 truck may go through 100 post codes (or more) so then every time the customer puts in his post code it'll need to check 100 000 post codes to see if it goes through.. this would probably take some time.. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
