Is this a client-specific postcode? That is, it is unique to your business? Or is it new (say less than six months old)? If so, it won't be included in the data made available to Google, which will fall back to "EC4A" and locate "EC4A 1AB" round the corner in Southampton Buildings. Giving the street address allows the location to be found because that takes precedence over the "1YH" part which Google can't locate. The answer is always to use the street address.
