This syntax is incorrect. Please read the documentation:
smallMap = new GMap2(document.getElementById("smallMap"), new
GSize(250, 400));
should be something like:
smallMap = new GMap2(document.getElementById("smallMap"), {size:new
GSize(250, 400)});
