Hey everyone,

I have been trying to fix an issue on a website that my company has
developed and the issue pertains specifically to Internet explorer as
the browser. (Specifically, IE7 and IE8 have been tested to show the
bug)
The website works flawlessly on Chrome and Firefox (at least in my
opinion, unless the two browsers are doing something under the hood to
suppress a bug and doing something intelligent with it that IE isn't
doing.)

PLATFORM:
- Internet Explorer only.

STEPS TO RECREATE THE BUG:

http://tinyurl.com/6egubo3

Above, is the link to the website that my company has developed.

- Please open it up in a new window of Internet Explorer (version 7 or
8 are known to exhibit the bug)

- Click on any 'route' from the routes list in the left panel
- The website will load a route trace (path that a bus will take on
that route), load the stops on that route and load real-time locations
of the buses as markers.

- Now, the 'route' tab will be unselected and 'stops' will be
selected.

- Click on 'Routes' to go back to it.

- Pick a different route from the routes list.

- Notice the route trace since that is the problem area for me.

- If you keep repeating the steps above to pick a different route
every time (you may go back to ones you clicked previously) then you
will see that one some occasions the route trace will not load.
Period.

- The stops and buses show up every single time.

I am sorry that the steps to recreate the bug are based on chance but
it happens quite frequently to make customers unhappy.

If it helps to know, we are using version 2.136 of the maps API.

I would be happy to provide the code that we use to load route traces
but I wasn't sure if you would want it.

Any kind of pointers in the right direction would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
kaymo
