All I can say is that it worked for me in Firefox. In fact it had the beneficial side-effect of not only keeping the overlays to their respective maps, but the second map appeared on the second page instead of starting at the bottom of page 1 and then not appearing on page 2 at all. I didn't do anything with the default settings of any of the maps: load the page, alter the CSS, print it. It just worked. Firefox 3.6.13, Win XP SP3, Brother HL-1250 printer.
