Hey GMaps Gurus, I am having problems getting X,Y coordinates of my map.
I am designing a map for a video game using Google Maps. I have created the tiles using a 12288x9216 Image. I want to show the coordinates of the mouse on the map (between 0-12288)X or (between0-9216)Y, as well as be able to add a label to a specific coordinate (Like 5433, 4233) instead of using Lat/Lng My current development is here: www.riftmap.com These past 2 weeks are the first time I have ever used Google Maps API. Right now I have the coordinates by making my image start at 0degrees lat & Lng and 1pixel = 1 arc second. So its 12288 arc seconds right and 9216 arc seconds down. This way is very silly and I would like to take a more professional approach. Thank you for the input. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
