We have a Premier program client id and key which we indend using to consume the static maps api *outside* of a web browser. According the guide, http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/premier/guide.html#URLs, the client id is restricticted to registered domain names. My question is how the Google Maps API expects to receive the domain name? My guess is that it relys on the optional "Referrer" header field in the http request header, is this correct? We need to know so we can correctly form our HTTP requests via the win32 Microsoft Windows HTTP Services (WinHTTP) api.
