What makes you think Google Maps can show more than one marker
specified by url? Have you seen it done?

I don't think it's possible using q= because what you are doing is
searching for a location (q=loc:) and there doesn't seem to be a way
of putting more than one location into the "Search Maps" box.

If Google Maps doesn't accept parameters for more than one marker,
then you need to use a method which allows you to do that.

However, the guys in the Google Maps Help Forum might know better.
This group is for the Javascript API and Static Maps, and you don't
want to know about those, even though they will both do what you want
to achieve.
