Hey all! At the moment iam trying to develop a java desktop application which can display many positions (MapMarkers) with their latitude and longitude position. The markers are in one sector and should have different colors but i dont want to show them on a map like Google Maps. So, is it possible to use the MapMarkers in a graphical way without using the Map functions or does anymone know a better framwork to do this? My first idea was to use Google Static Maps API.. but when i want to show those Markers graphically, i have to request a map with the markers inside.
