Does it?  I just tried Klostergut Reinshof, Germany in maps.google.com
and it said
"Did you mean: Klostergut Reins Of, Germany
We could not understand the location Klostergut Reinshof, Germany"

The geocoder available to the API is just a geocoder, best for looking
up addresses as described in the documentation.
maps.google.com uses a similar but not identical geocoder but also
searches extensive business data for matches
