As well as the closing } on the else statement? If that's what you did and 
you're getting errors, check the error console in your browser. If you're still 
stuck, give us a link to an example that isn't working. That is, show us your 
attempt at making it work. :)

On a side note: check the error console no matter what. You're trying to load a 
couple resources that are generating 404's, namely 
..earthpoints/dragzoom_packed.js, and /images/button-bg.gif
