Hi all - I'm quite green when it comes to the API so I apologize if
this issue has been answered before or if it's very simple to fix.

I have a map with ~1200 placemarks. These are separated by two levels
of folders, the first being state, and the second being group type.
I've set up the visibility and open properties so that all of the
states are visible but no groups are loaded by default.

This all works well when I use the KML file in Google Earth. However
when I upload it to my website (I'm using Joomla), the sidebar
demonstrates strange behavior. Specifically: the alignment of the
folder names appears to be "centered" -- and the behavior when
checking/unchecking the boxes next to each folder is reflective of
this. Any folder name that starts to the right of the one above it is
read as if it's nested. So for example, where I have:

South Carolina
South Dakota
Tennessee
Texas

Clicking "South Carolina" would select all four of these states.
Clicking "Tennessee" would select only "Tennessee" and "Texas."
Clicking "Texas" would select only Texas (which is what I want it to
do for all states, and which is what it does when I use the file
offline).

Similarly, clicking "Texas" centers the map on the state of Texas,
whereas clicking any of the other 3 states causes the map to zoom out
quite a bit instead.

How can I get the KML sidebar to read the hierarchy of these groups in
the same way as they are specified in the actual KML file, to get
proper behavior?

Thanks in advance

-Matt
