Hi, I have a custom overlay (a context menu) and a polyline in my map. My menu has some 'a' links and the polyline has a click event handler. My problem is that if my overlay and my polyline overlap and I left click on my menu link that overlaps the polyline, the click is first handled by the polyline and only after that is handled by the menu.
I was expecting that the menu received the event first as it has higher z-index (otherwise it would be hidden...). I know all about stopping event propagation, etc, I'm just not understanding is why this is happening in Gmaps2, because it doesn't make sense to me: if z-index is bigger it should receive the event first, no? Screenshot http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/856/screenshot016v.png/ Code example: http://tasca.com.pt/gmaps/ Right click to open context menu, then left click in a menu link that overlaps the circuit to see the problem.
