This is my first time posting in this forum so forgive me if I'm out
of line posting a "help wanted" type discussion. If so, let me know
and I will remove immmediately.

I am looking for a contractor that can help with a small geocoding
project. Please let me now if you are interested or if you can refer
me to an individual or service that could help. Our project is fairly
simple. We have a database of around 7,000 business listings that are
advertised on our website. We have advertising agreements with these
businesses to promote their listings on our site. We want written
text “driving directions” for each listing. We already have the
address and lat/long for each listing. We would like someone to take
these lat/long coordinates and pull the nearest major intersection for
each listing. Then, we would like someone to generate text driving
directions for each listing using the nearest major intersection as
the starting point and the listing lat/long as the ending point. As
we understand it, Google’s API does not currently provide the nearest
major intersection but there are a handful of third party APIs that
do. We would then use any free map API (Google’s API or any other) to
generate the written driving directions using the starting and ending
point(s). We simply want the nearest major intersection data and
driving directions content delivered back to us. We will being
displaying the driving directions content on a publicly available
website.

We have in-house IT and can handle the project ourselves…but we are
heavily back logged with projects right now and considered outsourcing
it someone well versed with geo coding APIs instead. I imagine this
would be a cake walk for someone that knows the API(s)?

Is anyone interested?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
