Hello. I´m a little noobie in this. But im searching and searching and i can ´t find anything that helps me.
Well my problem is i have a URL that leads me to a kml file with all coordinates, for now i get the coordinates and a sidebar with the markers, the points in the map and in the sidebar the markers with the names etc like this one http://econym.org.uk/gmap/example_interceptor.htm, but is a lot of them and is not pretty to see, well i decide that the best way to put them in a good place is creating a dropdown list or a checkbox that loads like the sidebar the points and them the user choose witch he want to see in the map with that dropdown list or check point. Like this but in my web application: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=http://econym.org.uk/gmap/example1.kml in this way or with dropdown list is better when we are leading with a lot of points. i like the idea of a dropdown list.
