Hi, We're using the Google Maps Static API to show maps in an email when someone puts in their UK postcode. Generally works fine.
There's the odd few, though, that show a completely different location on the static maps to their actual location. Take this, for example: http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=GU1+6NE&zoom=9&size=512x512&maptype=roadmap&sensor=false Compared with the actual (correct) google maps return: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&safe=off&q=GU1+6NE&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=1909l1909l0l2299l1l1l0l0l0l0l173l173l0.1l1l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1646&bih=1079&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl Why is the location so different and incorrect in the google maps static API, and is there anything I can do to improve it?
