You are correct, it's due to all the 3G/2G etc connections using a proxy 
server.
This comes up here a lot, and from what I remember this is nothing you can 
do about it, apart from trying to persuade Vodafone to give every connection 
a unique IP address and stop using the proxy (good luck with that!)
