I can't see anything wrong with that except for the CSS. You should counteract
img { max-width:100%;background:white}
because those rules break the map.

Perhaps
#googlemap img { max-width:none;background:none } might do it, or you
may need background:transparent, I can't remember.

If you post a link to a page where the key has gone wrong we might be
able to see what's going on: but if it's a template we probably won't
know how to fix it. You'll have to work that out from the diagnosis.
