I have created an intranet site for use solely within my company's
domain on an internal-facing server.

I created a new API key for Maps V2, and during development (VS2010
locally) all ran OK. The application creates a route map together with
pins showing diffrerent locations (created from Long/Lat markers). As
said, all works well.

Unfortunataly, once I deploy the project to the server, I get the
error message "this site needs a different api key. One can be
generated from google.com/maps/apis......" each time I navigate to any
page on that app, whether or not that page calls the API (only one
page has that code).

As mentioned, I did generate a new key, and all works well on
localhost, but ......

Any ideas as to what might be causing the error message to appear, or
how I might disable it?

Thanks in advance...... btw, great forum and thanks to all that post,
helped me tremendously ..
