Hello, My name is Ben and l work for a small company which installs gps tracking into vehicles so you are able to track them were ever they go.
Once your at www.etraceglobal.com.au our website and once you have logged in (email me for a demo login please) you go to a tab which is called 'live tracking' and on the left hand side of the screen it will bring up a list of vehicles in your account and on the right hand side it will come up of a google map (that l am told by my boss we had to get a API for it) where once you have click on the tick box of any of the vehicles it will show you on the map where it is current located. We had a client as us is it at all possible to add some sort of a transparent overlay on their maps so they know that when they click on the vehicle they can see if it is within a certain area. I have researched on the google website about overlays, polygons/ polylines and markers but l cant seem to figure out/understand where l am ment to put all of this code? any help or push in the right direction to more documentation would be greatly appreciated -Ben -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API V2" group.
