In NYC (and other cities), sometimes I have to take a bus I have never
taken before. Where I am, there are bus hubs with tens of buses spread over
several blocks. And while Google has bus routes shown when you do transit
directions, there is no ability to search for a specific bus. Say I needed
to take the 10 bus, but didn't know where it is, having the ability to
search for a specific bus is a must. The NY MTA recently sold off their
Long Island bus routes to a private company, and their website has this
functionality:
http://www.nicebus.com/Maps_and_Schedules/Interactive_System_Map/index.html

This is exactly (or something VERY similar) what Google Maps needs to make
it easier to find buses when you don't know where the stop is! Thanks!
