I'm glad you like the site. It's been a fun project - and it really only became a viable option with the release of polylines for the v3 api. We've put a lot of work into it, both in the programming as well as the user interface/experience.
We're excited to see what our campus population thinks of the map (it hasn't been officially released yet).
