ok. . .so. . . On a side note, have you noticed that this page does not render properly in IE8? I can't see the map at all. Therefor I will be basing my comparison from Mozilla. On the Ipod touch with the newest operating system (3.0), access through Safari 1) The pinch to zoom in and pull fingers apart to zoom out is working. 2) On your map, I am able to shift the map around, away from the beginning map center (so not too sure why its working here but not on my overlay). 3) The polygon circle shows up as a black circle, completely filled in (solid fill), instead of the way it renders in Mozilla 4) The pop up on the draggable marker works just as it should, renders the text "Nokia Headquarters" 5) The overlay square in red shows up fine. 6) The dragable marker works, but its kind of sketchy, the map starts to flicker and has a hard time filling in, plus it thinks that I'm trying to zoom, so it zoomed out a bit, even though I only had one finger on the screen. I don't think draggable marker will be very effective on touch screen unless some code is added to disable zooming while the marker is being dragged. 7) The final marker that pulls up the big black box with the grey center works fine, but the pop up is too large to render nicely on such a small screen. 8) The Map/Satellite.Hybrid/Terrain button all work just as they would anywhere else. 9) the +/- buttons are not available (do not render in the picture what-so-ever), so the pinch/pull technique is the only way to zoom. 10) The search bar works great, I typed in Vancouver and it took me right there. 11) The events list is editable. Hope this helps. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
