I've been searching and searching for answers on this topic, and I come up with nothing.
** Desired solution Use the V3 API to overlay and display the contents of a KML file. ** Problem I have a KML file (http://www-uat.fpc.wa.gov.au/content_migration/ environment/harvesting/kml/peel_b.kml) which I'd like to display within the Google Map. The KML file is to be used and displayed with the map on this sample page: http://www-uat.fpc.wa.gov.au/content_migration/environment/harvesting/peel_b.aspx I'd prefer not to handcode the information into the page due to the potential complexity, plus the fact this information could change. Being a purist, I like to seperate content from code as much as possible. Keeping the information in the KML file means it can be updated with ease without having to modify the actual page. ** Question 1) Are KML overlays supported in the V3 API? 1a) If they're not supported, s there an easy way to convert the KML content over to something I can use in the page? 2) If this is supported, can you point me in the right direction of documentation and samples on how to achieve this? Thanks in advance for any help and assistance. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group.
