How difficult would it be to create a route-renderer which would allow you to display a route between two points on a railway network? i.e. like getting driving directions but using railways instead of roads?
If there was a database of lat/lngs describing a rail network, how could this be accessed so I could click on Station A and Station B and draw a polyline which follows the rail route between the stations?
