Hi, Per Thor's post: http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.com/2010/03/supported-browser-updates-for-maps-api.html<http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.com/2010/03/supported-browser-updates-for-maps-api.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+GoogleGeoDevelopersBlog+(Google+Geo+Developers+Blog)&utm_content=Google+Reader>
I wanted to ask a question regarding the following: *"**We understand that many users work in environments in which they are not in control of the browser they must use. We will therefore do our best to ensure that users of browsers that we no longer support continue to have a good experience with Maps API v3 applications. If we develop a new feature that can be easily implemented in a manner compatible with these browsers we will do so, and we will continue to accept **bug reports*<http://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/> * relating to them. We will also attempt to ensure that any features we launch in future that are not compatible with these browsers degrade gracefully for affected users."* * * Clearly, this means that new features, as they come out, may not work in no longer supported browsers (such as IE6). Is the intent that already existing functionality should remain functional? ie: Given a map I've already built in v3 of the API, which I don't plan to add features to, and don't do anything to take advantage of new functionalities. Will my map continue to function under IE6, or will code be pushed that breaks existing functionality in older browsers? Thanks!
