Thanks for the description Magnus.

I was going to suggest what you already did, which is to listen and wait for
the 'idle' event to fire before triggering resize.  Alternatively, I wonder
if you can listen for 'center_changed' instead, although the difference
between this and 'idle' would be marginal.

Have you filed an external issue for this?  Sounds like it does qualify as a
valid bug, but we'll verify this on our end before proceeding.
